The challenge
Most productivity and health apps are too dense for older users: small text, hidden menus, jargon. At the same time families want reassurance, but seniors don't want to feel watched. The product had to cover medications, chores, gardening, meals and money in one place — and still feel simple on day one.
Our solution
We designed every screen around one clear action, large type and a “?” help button that explains the screen in plain language. Life areas are packaged as optional modules that generate their own tasks — gardening plans even react to the local weather forecast. A separate Viewer role gives family members read-only access to tasks, medications and mood, plus the ability to send a friendly nudge.
